On June 5, 2024, Prof. Brian Hall participated in the Mental Health Innovation Network (MHIN) Asia hub’s inaugural webinar. As an expert in digital mental health, Prof. Hall gave a presentation on "The Promise of Scalable Digital Mental Health Interventions in the Western Pacific Region." His talk focused on the potential of digital interventions to address the persistent challenge of mental health service access across the region. Prof. Hall covered evidence supporting these interventions, explored strategies for adapting and evaluating them through an implementation science framework and community co-creation, and outlined a research agenda to assess and scale the World Health Organization’s transdiagnostic intervention for Chinese young adults and Filipino migrants in China.
