Hello everyone, we are organizing a seven-week Theatre& Health workshop. We will be conducting a verbatim performance of breast cancer survivors, titled "What if I didn’t accept it at that time?" Drawing from narratives and interview videos of breast cancer patients, we will progressively delve into research, perception, and theatrical transformation. The outcome will be showcased in October at a breast cancer public event hosted by NYU Shanghai Center for Global Health Equity. As verbatim performance requires immersing oneself sentence by sentence in the interviewee's experiences, our performance will be in Mandarin with English subtitles.
We welcome applications for various roles, assistant production, interactive design, immersive design, drama photography, and filmmaking, among others.
