Chenghe Guan

ChengHe Guan is an Assistant Professor of Urban Science and Policy at NYU Shanghai. He also serves as a research consultant at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society at the University of Oxford and as a senior visiting researcher at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. Dr. Guan is the co-director of the International Urban Innovation Research Center, a nonprofit organization. He received his master's and doctoral degrees from the Department of Urban Planning and Design at Harvard University. Dr. Guan’s research interests include (1) Urban big data and space-time computation on smart eco-city systems from a multi-disciplinary context; and (2) Urban infrastructure planning and real estate development in low-carbon cities. He has published more than 30 papers in internationally renowned journals indexed in the Science/Social Science Citation Index. He has taught courses at both NYU Shanghai and Harvard University.
