NYU Shanghai-ECNU joint Graduate Training Program (NET)

The NYU Shanghai-ECNU Joint Graduate Training Program (N.E.T.) offers a Ph.D. and a Master’s in Applied Psychology. The joint program provides the opportunity for doctoral and master students at East China Normal University (ECNU) to receive mentorship in the area of population mental health, trauma and adversity, public mental health, and Global Mental Health, by a NYU Shanghai faculty member.

Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded the PhD or Master’s in Applied Psychology from ECNU.

Application

PhD Program

Applications are to be submitted through ECNU online application system. Applications are due each year by June 15 for international applicants and November/December for Chinese applicants for Fall matriculation.

 

Master Program

Applications are to be submitted through ECNU’s online application system.

  • Chinese applicants who have obtained exemption from the entrance exam should register at https://yjszs-ss.ecnu.edu.cn in September for Fall matriculation.
  • Chinese applicants who need to take the entrance exam should register at https://yz.chsi.com.cn in October for Fall matriculation.
  • International applicants should submit application via http://lxsapply.ecnu.edu.cn/ by June 15th for Fall matriculation.

International applicants applying for Chinese Government or Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship must submit PhD/Master application and Scholarship application before the Scholarship Application deadline. In general, Chinese Government Scholarship Type B application ends on March 31 and the Shanghai Municipal Scholarship application ends on May 15.
