Lixian Cui, Assistant Professor of Psychology at NYU Shanghai, Global Network Assistant Professor at NYU. Dr. Cui’s research focuses on child and adolescent social and emotional development and mental health disparity, particularly the development of psychopathology among children and adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds (e.g., ethnic monitory, low-SES, migrant). He examines how various contextual factors (e.g., family, school, peer, and cultural contexts) contribute to human development and incorporates psychophysiological and behavioral analyses in his research.
