Rui Ling is a current PhD student in Epidemiology at the Department of Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, Rui worked as a program evaluator for community-based interventions and national-level public health prevention programs at the University of Iowa. Her primary research interests lie in maternal and gynecological health, with a particular focus on mental health during and after pregnancy, as well as cardiovascular health during these critical time periods. Rui holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Sun Yat-sen University and a master’s degree in public health, specializing in social and behavioral interventions, from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
