Postdoctoral Fellow
Tim completed his PhD in Public Health at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His dissertation focused on the employment experience of female migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong and its effect on their mental health. His previous areas of research have been focused within the East Asia region, and included harms from alcohol use, acceptance of alcohol policy, and subjective social status as a predictor of health outcomes. His current research interests include Social Epidemiology, Global Health, and particularly, migrant health and well-being. Tim has experience in primary data collection among migrant worker populations and mixed methods research. He was also a Teaching Fellow (2024) at the Center for Asian Health Research and Education (CARE) at Stanford University.
