Projects and Themes
The Jiangsu Province HIV Cohort study is led by Weiming Tang at University of North Carolina and UNC-Project China, in collaboration with the Jiangsu Province CDC, and regional and international research collaborators, including NYU-Shanghai and the CGHE.
The Cohort enrolled more than 10,000 people living with HIV to explore multiple determinants of health and wellbeing, and increase access to needed HIV and mental health services.
Our team is working in collaboration on a diverse set of projects, largely in direct collaboration with community partners, to address sexual, mental, and social dimensions of health of sexual and gender minority populations in China and globally.
