Announcing Professor Brian J. Hall’s Appointment -
New Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences
The NYU Shanghai Center for Global Health Equity (CGHE) is very pleased to announce that our Director, Professor Brian J. Hall, has been appointed New Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences by Cambridge University Press. This appointment to Professor Hall’s significant contributions to global public health research and his leadership in advancing mental health equity.
Professor Hall brings a wealth of expertise in areas including psychiatric epidemiology, refugee and migrant mental health, digital mental health innovations, and the social determinants of psychological well-being. His work has informed policies and interventions at the global level. At CGHE, where interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative approaches to research are a focus, he has played a key role in addressing public health challenges.
This appointment reflects Professor Hall’s dedication to scholarly rigor and highlights CGHE and NYU Shanghai as a global hub for excellence in the production and dissemination of mental health research.
